The Settings page in Comply allows you to manage your business information, review legal approvals, verify API access, and check software certification details.
To access the Settings page:
Go to Shopify Admin
Click Apps
Select Comply
Click Settings
The Settings page is divided into four main sections:
1. Business Configuration
This section allows you to manage your company’s legal and tax information.
You can update:
Company address
Postcode
City
NAF Code
VAT status*
Click Modify to update your business registration details.
*VAT configuration
Your selected VAT status must reflect your official tax regime registered with the French tax authorities. If your business benefits from the VAT exemption regime (franchise en base de TVA):
You must not charge VAT on sales.
You cannot deduct VAT on purchases.
Your receipts will automatically include the mention:
“TVA non applicable, art. 293 B du CGI.”
If you exceed the applicable turnover thresholds, you must register for VAT and update your VAT status in Comply accordingly.
Incorrect VAT status configuration may result in non-compliant receipts and reporting. If you are unsure about your VAT regime, consult your accountant or the French tax authorities before updating this setting.
2. Approved Documents
This section displays the legal documents you approved when activating the app.
It includes:
Terms and Conditions
Shopify Comply NF525 Certification
You will also see:
Approval time registration (timestamp confirming when the Terms and Conditions were accepted)
This timestamp serves as proof that the legal agreements were formally accepted.
3. Shopify API Access Scopes
Comply requires specific Shopify API permissions to function correctly.
If everything is properly configured, you will see:
✅ All required API scopes are authorized
If scopes are missing, the app may not function properly.

4. Software Certification
This section displays compliance and certification information related to the Comply app.
It includes:
App name and version of Comply app
NF525 certification category
Certification badge (NF logo)
You can click View Version release to see details about the current software version.
📌 NF525 certification confirms the software complies with French fiscal regulations.
