Comply works in Shopify POS through two elements: the Comply extension for your country and the Comply tile on your Smart Grid. This article shows you how to set up both. The steps are different in each country. For now, this article covers Spain.
Note: You'll see these steps during Comply onboarding. If you skipped them, you can complete them at any time by following this article.

What each element does

Comply Spain tile | No, but recommended | Adds a Comply button to your POS home screen. You'll use it for fiscal alerts and full invoices. |
Important: In the Point of Sale editor, you'll see Comply Spain 🇪🇸, Comply France 🇫🇷 and Comply Sweden 🇸🇪, wherever your stores are. Always select Comply Spain.
Step 1: Activate the Comply Spain extension
In your Shopify admin, open the Point of Sale editor.
In the top toolbar, select the Apps icon. The Apps for Point of Sale panel opens.
Under Comply, select Comply Spain 🇪🇸.
Turn on the Activate on toggle. This turns on Comply for the receipt footer, order details, post-purchase and customer details.
Select Save.
A check mark appears next to Comply Spain. You'll also find it in the Activated tab.
Step 2: Add the Comply Spain tile to your Smart Grid
In the Point of Sale editor, select the Smart Grid icon in the top toolbar.
On the page where you want the tile, for example Page 1, select Add tile.
Select Embedded Apps, then Comply.
Select Comply Spain 🇪🇸 (POS UI extension).
Optional: choose a color for the tile in the right panel.
Select Save.
The Comply Spain tile now appears on your POS home screen.
Tip: use one Smart Grid for all your locations in Spain
A Smart Grid template belongs to locations, not to single devices. Several locations can share the same template.
Rename your Smart Grid template to "Spain", add the Comply Spain tile and assign the template to all your locations in Spain. Every device in those locations gets the tile automatically, and your setup stays tidy as you grow.
